Happy Birthday, Annika!

Annika's birthday was the 28th of August, and she turned 17! She is such a joy to our family - especially to her mother. I can't believe how fast time has gone. She was just a baby, that I had waited for for so many years, just the other day. I saw the movie "Mama Mia" a while ago. The song "Slipping through my Fingers" had me sobbing.  I know lots has happened in my life, and it has needed to be this long to fit it all in, but wow, it was just last month, that Annika was born, I'm sure of it!  Annika-I love you so much! Thank you for all the joy you have brought me, and that you continue to bring me! I'm so lucky to have my daughters be my best friends in the world! Because I know you could find no better ones anywhere! Have a Happy Year Anni!

17 year old Beauty!

Annika went to the Beach and Disneyland when she was 6 weeks old.  

She knew how to have fun from the beginning!

First Day of School

He was pretty excited.  Then he had 6 days off, and by then he changed his mind.  There still are some days he says he's not going to go today.  He really hated the fire drill.  This Friday they are having a mock disaster where we have to pick up the kids, and he is very concerned about hearing the alarm.  He constantly asks me if I will be there on Friday.  

But he likes school for the most part.

Jarom is the quarterback.  This is his first year playing.  He's done well.  

He made a touchdown last week.

He did make the pass, before he was sacked.

The older girls are playing volley ball, but I don't have any pictures yet...  

So we are busy going to games and running kids to practices.  It's a lot of fun!
