Bear World

We are at the front of the truck... you can see Jarom, Taylor, Makenna,
Tanner,  Quinn and others.
The other corner of the truck... we are all at the front.  It was way fun to feed these bears!
An of course, how could Tanner and I not take in a bear ride while we are there.

Busy Girls...

Annika and Kauri had a Kid's camp for a week.  They did a great job.  They had a good turn out, and I was so impressed how the were so organized and really made it fun for the kids.  It got a little crazy here, but it's nothing that we're not used to!

Swimming

Makenna and Tanner love to swim. We decided we needed to put them in swim lessons. We don't make it to Grandma's to swim as much, to help them learn, so they took for a couple of weeks. They did great and had fun, even though it was at 8:00 am!

Sleeping out...

We slept over at Savanna and Dan's after Jarom's birthday party.
The next morning we had to be up early to go to Willard Bay for Jarom and Makenna to get their ATV license.

Makenna, a stranger, and Jarom taking the test.
I thought I better add a picture of Mason and Kauri leaving to their ATV license test.  I didn't go with them to theirs, but they  both got their license a month before.

Happy 14th Birthday ~ Jarom!!!

Happy Birthday ~ Jarom!
I can't believe he is 14 ~~ time sure flies. Jarom is such a great person in our family.  He is such a special son and brother, he keeps us laughing and is just fun to be with.  We love him lots!  It's crazy how he's grown.  Thanks for the blessing you are in our lives.  We had to search over the ocean to find you, and what an amazing blessing it is, that Heavenly Father could help us find each other.  It shows how anything is possible and families belong together, and can be together now and for forever!   Happy Birthday Jarom!
We went to Savanna and Dan's and had a fun party!
Dan had a fun game for Jarom to play.  He was a great sport about it, but Dan could sure hold the spoon in his mouth and hit Jarom on the head a lot harder than Jarom could hit him!

Man! Dan can hit hard!
It's always nice to celebrate Jarom's birthday with fireworks!

24th of July Floats at the Expo Center

For Family Night on the 21st,  we went down to the South Town Expo Center and saw all the floats that would be in the 24th of July Parade. We got to judge the floats. They were all really neat. We voted for ours, though. Farmington Stake got the people's choice award and the sweepstakes award. I don't have pictures here, but there is a picture or two down a little farther at Farmington Days Parade. We had fun, and as you can see, they made it fun to be there.

This was our 2nd favorite float (especially since it was our old Stake - Taylorsville's float)  They had people there painting faces also.
There were clowns there tying all sorts of balloons.  I loved the hat they made me and Jarom...  Mine stood out a tad, but I shur felt purdy in it... (that was a joke)
Kauri got a frog... or should I say kissed a frog...

S'mores!

After the Luau, we went to Savanna and Dan's house and had s'mores! It was great fun!

Kids Luau

We had to leave the cabin on Saturday, because the kids had a luau to do for a ward in Brigham City.   They do a great job when they do luau's, and it's fun to have Tanner and Kylie jump in in perform. I didn't get very good pictures, but here are some of how good they look.
The ward loved it.

Boating at Jordanelle

We went to the cabin in July for a few days, and 3 of them we spent on the lake. I couldn't close my eyes for a couple of days without feeling like a boat was rocking... It was a lot of fun. We rode 4 wheelers a bit, but this trip was mostly boating.

Farmington Festival Days Parade

Taking the kids to the Farmington Festival Days Parade
Waiting for the parade to start.  We had great seats, and it was nice and shady.
The clown liked Tanner.  Kylie had Prince Charming come to try on a glass slipper,
but she was too shy and backed away fast from him.
Quinn and Annika took the kids for a potty break!
Everyone loves a parade!
