They believe they can fly...

The Cabin

We went up to the cabin again, February 23rd, we had a great time. Quinn, Savanna, Dan and their family came up, and so did our great friends, Tyler and Kristin and their family. We had a really good time. Saturday was so pretty, we hardly needed our coats as we played in the snow all day. We had fun, from zip-lining, making sledding tracks, sledding, swinging, a few of us crashing pretty hard, but laughing so hard, for how funny it looked, (even Makenna handled sledding right into the window well great. This is before the sled track was finished!) to snowmobiling, snowball fights, snowmen and even jumping off ledges, and balcony's. Not to mention the good food, (and a lot of it) and the fun playing games, watching movies, playing the wii, guitar hero, and of course some good laughing! Just good food, folks and fun!

Tanner is such a good sport!

Tanner isn't feeling too good, and he knows what will make him feel better. He's had problems with bronchialitus since he was very little. If he gets even a runny nose, it turns to bad breathing, and he knows he needs a breathing treatment. (This also happens when he gets around horses, which breaks his heart, because he LOVES horses!) I'm sure grateful for modern technology! We are blessed! And he is such a sweetheart!

Kauri always wishes she had straight hair... I always wish I had curly hair. But that is how it is. Kauri decided she wanted me to try straightening it. So while straightening her hair we had talks of how we always wish what we didn't have. She's not sure she likes it, but it looks longer!
Here is before, after, and how she wishes it was.... straight like mine! Hum.... We did have fun, but then we usually do.

Annika is in Viewmont High School's Musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie" She has to learn how to get her makeup just right. How do you think she did? The Teacher is like a drill sergeant, but everything I've seen her do has really been good. But it's a little too much, if you ask me... but then you didn't. So just check out and see if Annika has her makeup on right. Or does she have any on at all?

Well, there is nothing like having a big sister. After Annika practiced on herself, she practiced on Tanner. Poor boy, but he's a good sport! Big sisters just have a way with helping with the younger kids learn how to conform, or something. Just ask Quinn!

"It would be nice if you could pull me into town..."

Quinn and Tyeson...

Kauri

She's way taller than everyone on either team. She gets all the rebounds, and they are glad she is on their team! It's way fun to watch!

Annika Singing

Annika sang at New Beginnings, last night, the 6th. She didn't know I was sneakily videoing her.
She did great!

Snow!!!!

Tanner and I decided we'd try helping out, and go shovel the snow. All we have is this little power shovel. There was about 5" or more from last night, and 3-4" from the night before. Tanner was a good help, but we both got a lot to learn.
